I'm so excited...I got my invitation today to be a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger! I'm going to be Community & Youth/English Language Educator, which means I won't be working in a classroom, but with community members and kids in after-school groups, tutoring clubs, etc. WOW! It's going to be so much better than what I was expecting-a huge challenge but an awesome adventure! I'm going to be reading up on Niger a lot between now and July 7th! Here's a start:
